Times Table Adventure
Beat the monsters with the multiplication tables! Three worlds, a new table at every level and a final boss with all of them.
About the Times Table Adventure
The Times Table Adventure turns multiplication practice into a game: every right answer is an attack on a monster. Kids travel through three worlds — the Meadow, the Volcano and Space — learning one new table at a time, until they can beat the final boss with all the tables from 1 to 10.
How it works
- Each level adds one table to the ones before: the first level is the tables of 1 and 2, then 3 joins in, then 4, and so on up to 10.
- Half of the problems in a level come from the new table and the other half review the earlier ones. Each world ends with a boss that reviews everything learned so far.
- A right answer hits the monster. A wrong answer, or running out of time, costs a heart and shows the correct fact, which comes back a few problems later.
- Stars (1 to 3, depending on mistakes) open the next level, and coins buy new looks for the hero.
Why a game?
Kids practice longer when every answer makes something happen on screen. The adventure keeps the short, focused recall practice of the multiplication trainer, wrapped in a story with progress they can see.
Tips for parents
- Use the ⚙️ button to choose how answers are given: picking one of 4 choices is quicker for beginners; typing the answer is better practice for memorizing.
- Aim for 3 stars: replaying a level without mistakes is the best review.
- Look at the facts to review at the end of each level and go over them together.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. Everything on School is free, with no ads and no account needed.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On a computer the game plays right in the page; on a phone it opens full screen, like an app.
Where is the progress saved?
In your browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing the browser data resets it.
How is it different from the multiplication trainer?
The trainer lets you pick any tables and number of problems, and unlocks mini-games as a reward. The adventure follows a fixed path, one table at a time, and the practice itself is the game.
